Two types of destruction
Oct 20, 2025
There are two types of destruction.
Destruction by forces coming from inside the subject, and destruction of the subject by external forces.
The first happens much more slowly and more rarely than the second. But the first is a form of sustainable development, and the second of unsustainable.
With external destruction the subject almost always returns to its previous state, since the internal structure still remains the same. A real break and transition happen only after internal work on reformatting.
That’s why it’s important not to force changes from outside. You need to help them happen from inside.
This applies to everything - from simple microorganisms to complex social structures like states.
